Bank Data Processing
For bank account connections and transaction data, we use GoCardless as our trusted third-party provider. Here's how we handle your banking information:
- Bank connections and transactions are processed and stored by GoCardless (Nordigen), a licensed Account Information Service Provider (AISP) regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- To improve your user experience, we temporarily store your bank transaction data in your browser's local storage. This data is only accessible to you and is never transmitted to our servers.
- Bank transaction data is only stored temporarily in your browser and is automatically cleared when you clear your browser data or after a period of inactivity.
- While we don't store bank transaction data on our servers, we maintain secure connections with GoCardless and implement strong encryption for any data transmitted between your browser and their services.
- You have complete control over your bank connection data and can delete it at any time through our interface.
- When you delete a bank account connection, we immediately remove the connection from GoCardless and clear all related transaction data from your browser's local storage. This process is irreversible and ensures your banking data is completely removed from both our service and your local device.
